Hi,
I've been looking into possible ways to input far shadings caused by horizon into the simulation. Since .hor files are not supported for import I came up with a workaround when I would input it as azimuth-by-altitude beam shading losses. Horizon data is freely available at PVgis. I'm attaching an exel file with transformation of .hor data into a table that can be simply pasted into SAM.
I would like to ask if it makes sense and should do the job it's intended for or am I missing something?

Hi Ondrej,
Assuming the effect of horizion shading is not already accounted for in the irradiance data in your weather file, your approach seems reasonable.
