Wave resource Simulation was created by Veronica Dabrowski
Hello
I would like to simulate the wave resources of a location in Norway. I have adapted the data to the format required by SAM but the file is still not working. I am not able to add the file to the library to simulate the resource.
Could you please check the file and let me know if something is missing or has to be corrected.
Thank you,
Veronica

Hi Veronica,
Thank you for following up. I made a mistake in my testing -- you are correct that your file does not work with SAM's Wave model.
The problem is the Location ID field in the header. For some reason SAM requires that the field be a number. Please try changing the location ID from "SN76923" to a number like "76923". In my testing, that fixed the problem.
We will fix this in an update: github.com/NREL/SAM/issues/1994 .
Best regards,
Paul.
