Wind wetaher data was created by Zakaria Adam
Hello community,
I'd like to know if it is possbile to run SAM with 1-hour weather data for 2 or more years.
I release that when I run SAM with 1-hour weather data for the year 2020, it takes only 28 days for the february instead of 29 (in order to have 8760 rows), is there any issue to solve this problem ?
Thank you.

Hi Zakaria,
SAM's wind and solar power models require a weather file with one year of data from January 1 to December 31. SAM does not account for leap years or for daylight savings time.
See SAM's Help topics under "Weather Data" and "Weather File Formats" for more details:
samrepo.nrelcloud.org/help/weather_data.html
samrepo.nrelcloud.org/help/weather_format.html
Best regards,
Paul.
