Wind resource file stored on your computer

Hi everyone!
I want to use wind resource file i try to convert the file from excel to CSV.
and also I have wind power generation data, wind speed, temp for 1 year time inverval is 1 hours and i have also 10 min interval data.
It is impossible to used SAM with these data..? 
Firstly i notice srw format but recently it changed to CSV only,

You can use your own wind resource data with SAM's Wind Power model. We recommend using the "SAM CSV for Wind" format, which is described in Help: samrepo.nrelcloud.org/help/weather_format_csv_wind.html .

The SRW format is an older format that should still work (the file extension can be either .srw or .csv).
