I've had the same issue in the past couple of days. Any help in this regard would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello,
SAM uses a Google API to determine latitude and longitude values from location names and addresses. Google has made some changes to the API so that SAM's current calls to the API do not work. We are working to resolve this issue. In the meantime, you should be able to download weather files from the NREL Solar Prospector website and copy them to your weather file folder .
Best regards,
Paul.
