SAM Algorithm

Hello everyone,

Could someone tell me which algorithm is used in SAM for simulation (PV simulation for example) ?

Is it the same algorithm that is used for all types of systems ?

Hi Minni,

SAM uses different models for different types of systems. You can find descriptions of the models on the various "Publications" pages on the SAM webiste. For example, the PV model is described in the photovoltaic reference manual, which you can find on the PV Publications page here: sam.nrel.gov/photovoltaic/pv-publications.html
