Hello community,

I need your help to move forward with my project.

I would like to know if anyone has any ideas on how to combine PV, biomass and geothermal in SAM 2023 to arrive at a single simulation.

I haven't found any way of doing this.

Please let me know if you have a solution.

Thank you.

Hi Souleymane,

You could try using the Combine Cases feature of the Generic System model as described in this video onthe SAM YouTube channel:

Hello Paul,

Thank you for your reply.

I have another question, is it possible to visualize the share of each source in the combined system?

Indeed, I didn't get much information when I used the combined system, such as electricity load, priority of one source over the other.

Thank you.

Hi Souleymane,

To see the contribution of each sub-system, you can run a simulation for that system's case. For examlpe, run the case for the biomass power system to see how much electricity the biomass system generates.

Best regards,
Paul.
