Hi Amrit,
SAM does not allow the inverter output to exceed its AC rated capacity. This function of an inverter is called power limiting.
I'm not sure how this is handled in PVsyst.

Is there any way to model sam so that we can get different system power output when clipping loss occurs.

Hi Amrit,
Yes. SAM limits the system's power to the inverter's AC power rating. It also limits the array operating voltage to the inverter's minimum and maximum MPPT voltage rating, which affects the system power.
