PVSyst and SAM

Dear SAM Developers,

I would like to learn more about SAM and simulate PV+BESS and Wind+BESS projects. 

PV side PVSyst is the most advance tool in the market and my question is;

Could we model the PV system in PVsyst and financial modeling and Battery part modeling we can use SAM? 

Ready project data will come from PVsyst side and SAM will continue on Finance and Battery side. 

Is there any project import possibility from Pvsyst to SAM?  

I don't prefer the system modeling at SAM. Every program has a unique ability and I believe more good at Finance modeling and other renewable modeling capabilities.

Hi Haluk,

One option would be to use PVsyst to determine the time series AC output of the PV system, and use that data as input to SAM's Generic System model. The Generic System model allows you to use time series generation data as input:
