I am trying to perform a P50/P90 Analysis and I have noticed the exact module and inverter I have been requested to use, is not in the SAM library. Is there some way to add the files I need? I cannot seem to find any directions in the program to do so. Thank you in advance for your help.
To model a module that is not in either the CEC or Sandia module library, you can use the "CEC Performance Model with User Entered Specifications" option on the Module page to enter values from a manufacturer's data sheet. For now, there is not a similar option on the Inverter page, so the best you can do is choose a similar inverter to the one you want to model.
We are working on an inverter model that allows you to specify custom parameters from a manufacturer data sheet. That should be part of the next version of SAM.
