Thermal Energy Storage in Linear Fresnel was created by lynnb
Hello,
I wanted to ask about how i can turn off the power block (electricity generation) and instead simulate for thermal energy output for the linear fresnel configuration. I want to be able to find the size of the plant from the heat duty input only and turn off the power block.
Thank you please answer soon!

Hi Lynn,
It is not possible to turn off the power block for the Linear Fresnel Molten Salt or Linear Fresnel Direct Steam models. You can use the Linear Fresnel Direct Steam - Heat model for a process heat or other thermal application without a power block.
Best regards,
Paul.
