Hello,
I wanted to ask about how I can turn off the power block (electricity generation) and instead simulate for thermal energy output for my Power Tower Heliostat molten salts configuration, I want to be able to find the size of the plant from the heat duty input only.

Hi Christina,
It is not possible to turn off the power block for SAM's Power Tower model.
We are working on the Fall 2023 version of SAM that includes an Industrial Process Heat Power Tower model, so you may want to wait for that version to be release. We plan to release it by mid-December.
