Morning, please can you respond to the following.
  1. In South Africa the TOU rates are different for Saturdays and Sundays, can this be modelled as only Weekdays and Weekend input tables are available, see picture below.

  2. As tariff increases are not starting on the 1st of January, we require 12 periods to complete tariff calculations, the tables does not want to accept inputs above 9, see pictures above and below.

  3. Is it possible to change the currency to local currency (R)

Hi Johan,

SAM assumes that January 1 is a Monday, and that weekends are Saturday and Sunday. It is not possible for Saturday and Sunday to have different TOU periods.

You can specify up to 36 TOU periods. Use the letters "a" through "z" in the Weekday and Weekend schedule matrices for Periods 10 through 36.

It is not possible to change the currency symbol in SAM.

Best regards,
Paul.

Morning Paul,

Thanks, the TOU table was fixed and now reflects the 12 TOU tariffs using "a" to create the 11 and "b" to create the 12 in the TOU tables (Weekday and Weekend).

Hi Johan,

Be sure to set the "Tier" value in each row to 1, and the "Max. Usage" value in each row to a very large number like 1e38.

Best regards,
Paul.
