        SAM 2023.10.31 is available for Beta testing. This is a preliminary version of the Fall 2023 release of SAM. The Beta version includes:
    - New configurations for hybrid power systems with different combinations of photovoltaic, wind, generic, fuel cell, and battery storage subsystems.
- New features and updates for Marine Energy and Geothermal models.
- Many smaller updates and bug fixes.
- Install the Beta version in a separate folder from the current version of SAM. Do not remove the current version of SAM.
- Files that you open and save in the Beta version will not work with SAM 2022.11.21 or older versions. If you use the Beta version to open a .sam file you created in the current version of SAM, save a separate copy for the Beta version.
- The Beta version expires 11/30/2023.
- This is a preliminary version for testing. It has known issues and may generate unreliable results.
- The Beta version requires about 470 MB of disk space.
- Download the installation program appropriate for your computer:
- Run the installation program to install the Beta version SAM. The installation process is the same as described on Download page , but with different folder and file names. Be sure to install the Beta version in a different folder than the current version of SAM.
