Report template not found was created by James Hagen

I've run into a problem generating reports using SAM Community Solar. When I select report an error occurs stating: SAM could not find any templates valid for the current technology and financing combination.
How should I proceed? Is there a file location where templates are stored?

Hi James,

We have not developed a report template for the Community Solar model.

You can use the techniques described in Help to to export data and graphs from SAM into your documents: Export Data and Graphs .

Let me know if you have suggestions of what we should include in a report template if we get a chance to develop one.

Paul,
Thanks for the quick response.
In regards to reports, I think it would be beneficial to split into multiple sections. One section would be the input since it could be beneficial to be able to distribute to various experts to review the various input variables as a first step prior to simulating and trying to optimize. The next section I'm interested in are the summary results which again will likely need a distribution to other team members. I believe the financials are covered using the Excel download options. I suspect others will have input on section that are pertinent to their workflows.
