Add a new inverter was created by Bertrand Boussert
Hi,
I am a new user of SAM and try to figure out how to add a new inverter. The inverter I am using on my PV system is a Victron Multiplus, see spec attached. I have hard time to identify the values I should enter under operating ranges and losses on the inverter datasheet.
Look forward to read back from you,
Best regards

Hi Bertrand,
You can use the "Input voltage range (V DC)" from the datasheet for SAM's minimum and maximum MPPT voltage rating. The datasheet has three voltage ranges, which I think are for the 12, 24, and 48 Volt inverters.
You can use the "zero load power" data to estimate the value for SAM's power consumption at night.
Best regards,
Paul.
