Can someone please provide some documentation on how to run a soiling loss analysis for an utility scaled project? thanks!

        Hi Mishell,
Soiling is an input on the Losses page for the Detailed PV model and on the System Design page for the PVWatts model. For PVWatts, you can either use the DC soiling loss, or monthly irradiance losses in the "Advanced Inputs" section of the System Design page.
As for what values to use, you'll need to do some research to see what is appropriate for your project. Here's a link to NREL research on the subject: www.nrel.gov/pv/soiling.html .
Best regards,
Paul.
