Can I simulate snow losses for an utility scaled solar project in Canada? I was reading the 2017 paper and it says that "To date, however, only the sliding coefficient for roof-mounted systems has been incorporated into SAM because it was determined from a larger sample size in Marion’s analysis and therefore better validated."
Thanks!

        Hi Mishell,
If you have weather data with snow depth data in cm, you could use SAM's snow loss model for a utility-scale project, and look at the results to see how well the model works for your application.
Best regards,
Paul.
