the problem of time series losses when using the data with different time step was created by Chunyu
Hello,
I used my own data in SAM to analyze the power generation efficiency of PV. The data is in units of every ten minutes. I found that the data can be correctly identified by SAM and I get satisfactory results.
But when I set 'Enable time series losses with custom periods', there is a problem with the software. For example, I set the loss of all moments in January to 100%, but it can be seen from the results that the losses in the first six months are all It is 100%, I suspect that under different time step data, the SAM software will scale the loss time.

Hi Chunyu Zang,
Please attach a copy of the .sam file that demonstrates this problem. Note that cutting and pasting images into the forum editor does not work -- to ensure the images upload correctly, you can attach each image as a file and then insert it into your text.
Best regards,
Paul.
