PV simulation results getting lost after saving, closing and reopening was created by Ulrich Stopper
My Simulation results in the tabs Time Series, Profiles, Statistics, Heat map, PDF are not visible anymore when I save the Project, close the program, reopen the program and reload the Project.
I only see empty plots on These pages. (Independently of wether I am saving the file with or without hourly data)
The only way to restore the plots is to run the Simulation again, which takes a lot of time.
Is there something I can do about it?
My System: Windows 10, Intel UHD graphics, SAM Version 2022.11.21, 64 bit, updated to rev. 3

Hi Ulrich,
This is the way SAM is designed to work. SAM discards time series results when you close a file to avoid having very large file sizes.
There is a feature request to allow for saving time series data: github.com/NREL/SAM/issues/713
Best regards,
Paul.
