Hello,

I wanted to run an uncertainty simulation with 60 minute and 30 minute data but keep receiving the same error message:

"An error ocurred while computing the samples using LHS:
Could not read output file var/folders/sy/1qs4snwj1g5ft5zzz14gzwzr0000gn/T/SAMLSH.LSP "

I am running the SAM version 2022.11.21, 64bit.
SSC version 280: OS X 64 bit GNU/C++
wxWidgets 3.2.0 on macOS Monterrey version 12.6.6 (Build 21G646)

I have been able to run the uncertainty analysis with no problem on other computer with the very same data files.

Thanks!

Heduardo

I have come across the same error while running an uncertainty model:"An error occurred while computing the samples using LHS:Could not read output file /var/folders/yg/t3lyshyd56zdhzznvf6d18mssz8fgv/T/SAMLHS.LSP"I am running on a Mac, MacBook Pro, M1 chip, OS 13.6.6Version 2023.12.17, 64 bit, updated to revision 1SSC Version 290: OS X 64 bit GNU/C Mar 7 2024 03:31:21I have gotten this to occur across multiple weather files, but I am attaching one.

Hi Simon,

Thank you for letting us know about this.

The Uncertainty simulations don't work on Mac and Linux versions of SAM:

github.com/NREL/SAM/issues/1417

github.com/NREL/SAM/pull/1504

Unfortunately, we don't have a solution for this yet, but are working to find one.

Best regards,
Paul.

Ok, this makes sense now. I didn't understand the github timeline.

Appreciate the support and I'm excited about this feature when a solution is discovered.
