Parametric simulation : Find optimal Tilt, What are all the values found? was created by Nono57
Hello,
In order to study the impact of the inclination of the solar panels on the production of electricity I used the parametric mode (as advised on the forum). Here is the configuration of my system (System Design). The input parameter is the tilt of the solar panels (attached) and the output parameter is the inverter DC input power. Problem I get a table with 438000 rows and not 17 520 rows ( 365*24*2 [data each 30 min] ). I don't understand what all these rows correspond to. Could someone help me to understand what all these lines correspond to please.
Best regards,

Hi Bellam,
SAM's Detailed PV model runs a simulation over the analysis period. In your case:
438,000 time steps/analysis period ÷ ( 365 days/year * 24 hours/day * 2 time steps/hour ) = 25 years/analysis period
Best regards,
Paul.
