annual and monthly kWh generations/export was created by abonakda
Hello,
I am running the default Phoenix Detail model (I don't have the latest update release last week or so). I am looking at data tables for annual kWh (load, generated and exported). Electricity from grid to system is a constant -23 kWh / year over the 25 year lifetime, not sure what is going on here. Shouldn't load - generation = grid to system? (with negative number meaning kWh electricity exported to grid), or how do we see the annual exported electricity in the data tables? The monthly tables seem to make sense. Any suggestions?
Best,
Arman

Hi Arman,
For the Detailed PV model, the Annual "Electricity from grid to system" accounts for electricity for inverter power use, which is determined by the "Power use during operation" and "Power use at night" inputs on the Inverter page.
At night, when the PV system is not generating power, the inverter is consuming some power for standby mode.
Best regards,
Paul.
