Biomass Feedstock was created by jtippett
Hello,
In the Biomass Model, I am trying to understand how the Biomass Feedstock Resource data gets populated. The help file says: "Biomass Feedstock Resource "describes the amount of biomass available as an energy source within a certain radius of the location specified in the Location and Ambient Conditions page."
However when I select a different location name under "Solar Resource Library" on the Ambient Conditions page. The feedstock figures on the Feedstock page do not change. Likewise, when I enter a different radius, the values to not change.
Am I doing something wrong?
Also, if there is a webinar on the Biomass model, I would appreciate getting a link to it!
Thanks!

Hi John,
SAM does not automatically update the feedstock inputs when you change the location, so you have to provide the data yourself.
The biomass model in SAM has not been updated since it was originally developed. You can find more information about the model on the Biomass Combustion page of the SAM website: sam.nrel.gov/biomass.html .
Best regards,
Paul.
