TES and Field Mass Flow Rate reaching zero for Solar Tower Plant was created by Lucas
Hey Paul!
After finishing my simulation, Ive observed that for some days the mass flow rate for these items reach zero.(You can January 20 as an example in the attachment). I have already checked the weather file and it doesnt seem to be a radiation issue..
My question here is if there is a way to make any kinda of configuration on SAM to have the plant operational 24/7 ( Im assuming that once there is no mass flow rate, the power cycle is not producing energy thus not being operational)
Thanks!

Hi Lucas,
You could try to completely avoid times with zero mass flow rate by adjusting the system design.
There is not an input setting that prevents the mass flow rate from reaching zero.
Best regards,
Paul.
