Total installed cost per capacity not as expected was created by nendae
Hello,
I am trying to understand why my total installed cost per capacity is $4.03/W. I expect it to be $3.87/W. Please refer to the screenshot below. Please let me know if this is an error that I can fix, or if there is an additional cost that I am not seeing. I appreciate your help.

Hi Ondrea,
For the Standalone Battery model, the total installed cost per capacity shown on the Installation Costs page is defined as:
Total Installed Cost per Capacity ($/Wac) = Total Installed Cost ($) / Maximum Discharge Power (kWac) / 1000 (W/kW)
The maximum discharge power is on the Battery Cell and System page.
SAM does not use the cost in $/Wac for any calculations. It is displayed on the Installation Costs page for your information.
