Dear Paul,
When you simulate and go to the losses tab, the names of many of the losses are truncated. Maybe this only happens when you have a significant bifacial gain, because it shoves all the names to the right.
This occurs on the page you see and on that page in the report, if you print it.
Many thanks,
Dennis Emberling

Hi Dennis,
The loss diagram width is fixed, and in some cases the labels may extend beyond the right margin of the diagram.
Is the bifacial gain that is causing this to happen in a reasonable range to be realistic? Also, are you seeing this on a Windows, Mac, or Linux version of SAM? On Mac and Linux, text size is a bit larger than windows and can cause these kinds of problems.
Best regards,
Paul.

Dear Paul,
Yes, the bifacial gain is in a reasonable range. It even happens with small bifacial gains.
Windows version of SAM's latest version.
How about just making the loss diagram's width 20% wider?
Thanks,
Dennis

Hi Dennis,
We need to come up with a fix that works across different screen sizes, resolutions, and operating systems that use different fonts. Because the loss diagram looks normal on my computers, it would help my investigation to have a copy of the .sam file that is causing the problem on your computer. Would you mind attaching a copy of your .sam file?
Best regards,
Paul.

Dear Paul,
Here it is.
If you want to see how it looks with lower Albedo than the .6 I'm using (using TerraPave's white spray under the panels), you only have to change it on the Location Page under Albedo, as I'm sure you know.
Best,
Denny

Hi Denny,
Thank you. I can now replicate the issue. We will fix this in an update to SAM 2021.11.21: github.com/NREL/SAM/issues/1330 .
Thank you for pointing out the problem.
Best regards,
Paul.
