Frozen Simulation was created by DCDiaz
Hello Everybody.
I don't what is happening that sometime the simulation is frozen around 30-40% complete and I have to force the exit of SAM to re-start the program.
I was simulatuin PV*BESS system with 11 MW, 15 MW, 22 MW, 30 MW and 48 MW.
When I try 30 MW the Simulation can't complete the simulation getting frozen around 30-40%.
Have Someone had the same experience?
Regards

Hi Danilo,
Please reply with a .sam file attached that demonstrates that issue if you would like us to help troubleshoot.
Best regards,
Paul.

Hello Paul.
Attached is the SAM file.
I have a OSX Notebook MAC PRO to make the simulation.
When I try to simulate the 30 MW Case. The simulation started slowly, then when it reached 40%, it got frozen and I had to forze to exit SAM.
Regards
Danilo

Hi Danilo,
The simulation doesn't finish for the 30 kW case because of the grid outage requirement. If you remove the grid outage, the simulation finishes. This may be an indication that the 30 kW case cannot meet the grid outage as designed.
Best regards,
Paul.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for your help.
First, I try to zero all grid outages values in the array (Didn't Work!)
Then, I try to remove the critical load requirement and the SAM, automaticallly, remove the grid outages values. (It works!)
The life come back again!
It worked but Grid Outages are quite common and must be simulated.
Regards

Hi Danilo,
This is a bug that we will fix either for the update planned for mid-February or for the next version at the end of this year:
github.com/NREL/SAM/issues/1324
Best regards,
Paul.
