Get battery size and dispatch from REopt was created by Kam Li
Using the new 2022 version to size a battery using REopt and received the following error:

Could not evaluate callback function:call_reopt->on_change[30]: error in call to 'reopt_size_battery()': Invalid inputs. See 'input_errors'.[ Invalid length for prod_factor_series_kw. Samples must be hourly (8,760 samples), 30 minute (17,520 samples), or 15 minute (35,040 samples) ][11]: eval error in statement list

is it a bug of the new version, REopt website not working or an input error?

Hi Kam Li,

This appears to be a message returned by the REopt API, and suggests that the simulation time step in SAM does not match the API requirement. This would be caused by using a weather file with a time step of other than 60, 20 or 15 minutes.

Could you attach a copy of the .sam file that causes this error?

Hi Kam,

Thank you for sending the file. I tested REopt for a Detailed PV - Battery / Commercial case. Your file confirms that there is a bug for REopt with a PVWatts case.

We will address this in the first update to SAM 2022.11.21: github.com/NREL/SAM/issues/1290

In the meantime, please continue using SAM 2021.12.02 if you need to use this feature.
