Hi Paul,
I hope your week is going well so far!
I'm doing a PPA simulation for a BESS.
Here in Ontario, customers reduce their peak demand during the IESO coincident peaks in order to reduce the global adjustment costs, and that reduces their bills. This is done by dispatching the BESS during peak periods.
How can I include an annual incentive based on MW installed at the facility?
I found the way if we had PV+BESS under capacity payments, but the Revenue tab is not available if I select only BESS.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards,
Rafael

Hi Rafael,
The Standalone Battery / Single Owner configuration has input pages for Revenue and Incentives where you can specify dollar values in dollars per unit of installed capacity.
On the Incentives page, the Capacity Based Incentive (CBI) is a one-time direct cash payment calculated from the system nameplate capacity in Watts. On the Revenue page, the capacity payment is annual revenue calculated from the system nameplate capacity in megawatts.
Best regards,
Paul.

Hi Paul,
I changed the model to Single Owner, and was able to find the Revenue tab, along with the Capacity annual payment.
However, the model is not creating the report although the simulation does run correctly.
The following message appears,

Hi Emilio,
A PDF report for the merchant plant financial model is not available. You can create your own report with the data you need for your project using the techniques described in the "Export Data and Graphs" topic of Help:

Best regards,
