Integration With ArcGIS was created by CKruss
I am curious if anyone has been successful integrating SAM with ArcGIS? I have not been able to find much about integrating directly, so I'm likely to take the approach of manually populating a database. But I figured I would check to see if anyone has been able to establish a bi-directional connection between the two. The idea being I could identify a location in ArcGIS & use a polygon to map the area. Then, in SAM, I could create a model that uses those parameters (location, system size, etc.). Once the model is completed, I could run the system simulation which would then populate or replace the tables in the database referenced by ArcGIS. I've included a professional, very high quality, diagram to provide some insight.
Appreciate any perspective y'all can offer!

Hi Colin,
The SAM Software Development Kit (SDK) page describes tools you could use for such an application:
sam.nrel.gov/software-development-kit-sdk.html
Best regards,
Paul.
