Running SCO2 Macro was created by Neumann
Hey!

I`ve been trying to run the SCO2 Macro in the newest version of SAM and so far I haven't been succesful..

Is there a tutorial video or any other material that might help on this process? (I did try to follow the process described in SAM and also spent hours on Github and still nothing..)

Thanks in advance!

Hi Lucas,

Can you provide some more information about what trouble you are having?

The macro requires that you generate a JSON file using the Python script on GitHub. If you are seeing an error in SAM when you run the macro, please attach a copy of the JSON file you are trying to import to help me investigate.

Best regards,
Paul.

Hey Paul!

I wish I could have gone this far,,

Actually I wasn´t even able to generate the JSON file..

Is it required major phyton skills to run this?

Thanks Paul!

Hi Lucas,

Yes, this macro does require Python coding skills, and that you follow the instructions described in the user guide provided with the Python code (in the examples folder) at github.com/NREL/SAM/tree/develop/samples/CSP/sco2_analysis_python_V2.

Best regards,
Paul.

Hi Paul!

So I did follow the instructions and tried to run the code but the message it retrieves is that the module sco2_cycle_scc is not found..

Any quick help on how to install this?

Thanks!
