SPP Formula query

Hello,

Can u tell me which Formula SAM is using to calculate simple payback period SPP? I am really confused! can anybody tell me simple and exact formula for SPP which SAM is using.

If you are running a Windows version of SAM, you can also see the calculation in Excel by clicking Send to Excel with equations from the Cash Flow tab on the Results page. We have also posted versions of this Excel workbook on the SAM website at sam.nrel.gov/financial-models/residential-and-commercial.html .

Sir, I am unable to understand Excel sheet formula (IF function) for Simple Payback Period. Can u please teach me how to calculate payback period? can you please write the formula here with explanation? Please.
