Hi Paul.
How SAM control the HTF mass flow that goes for de Power Block and TES (hot tank)?
Typically, SAM prioritize the Power Block in detriment of TES, right?
As solar radiation is higher than the design point DNI, the mass flow rate increases and that surplus goes to TES?

Hi Bernardo,
Yes. Generally, SAM attempts to operate the system so that the power cycle operates as close to its design point as possible, considering the turbine output fraction and schedules on the System Control input page.
