Hi Paul,
How was the file? Is it ok?
Please do let me know if you need anything else.
Best regards,

Hi Rodrigo,
Thank you for emailing your file.
The higher "module deviation from STC" losses are caused by the partial shading model. That model assumes the modules are crystalline Silicon modules with three bypass diodes and estimates the effect of partial shading of the modules as a DC loss in the array output. If you clear that checkbox in the Edit shading window, the modules will be treated as thin film modules that have a more linear response to partial shading of the modules, and you should see a lower module loss value in the loss diagram.
Best regards,
Paul.

Hi Paul, thank you to look into this.
As you said I got a better value for DC module deviation from STC losses. Now is about 5%.
My module is a P-type Mono-crystalline which makes no sense, but thanks anyway.
Best regards,
Rodrigo

Hi Rodrigo,
These results indicate that shading might have more of an impact on the output of a system with crystalline silicon modules than thin film modules. The partial shading model is an empirical model based on analysis of data from systems in the field that is described in the publications listed under "Partial Shading of Photovoltaic Modules" on the PV Publications page of the SAM website:
sam.nrel.gov/photovoltaic/pv-publications.html
Best regards,
