Parametric simulation - Different values was created by Martin
Hello guys, actually I'm doing a CSP Tower Salt moltern simulation and I did the simulation and the result of Annual Energy I've got is the follwing:
However when i do the parametrics simulation the annual energy is a bit different:
Anyone knows what i need to do to obtain the same results?

Hi Martin,
The "Annual Energy" value in the Metrics table is equivalent to the "Annual total electric power to grid" (annual_energy) variable in the Parametric outputs list. You are showing the "Present value of annual energy (nominal)" (npv_energy_nom), which SAM uses to calculate the levelized cost of energy (LCOE).
Also, keep in mind that if you want SAM to reoptimize the heliostat field layout and tower and receiver dimensions, you should check Optimize heliostat layout and tower dimensions on the Heliostat Field page before running the parametric simulations. That will cause the field optimization to run for each parametric case.
Best regards,
Paul.

Thank you so much Paul for the help!. Effectively that was the output value that i had to check.
Best Regards
