Hello
In the phypical model for parabolic trough, the solar field "help" states that the default value of "row spacing" is 15m.
How to calculate precise this value for different collectors and location? because the distances derectly affect the row shadowing.
Thank you

Hello,

You may want to try different values to find the optimal row spacing for your system design and location.

Best regards,
Paul.

Hello,
Thanks your help. Does it mean that i could use the function of Parametric to find the optimal row spacing the same as confirmed optimal solar multiple?

Yes. You could either change the values of the variable and run simulations by hand, or use the Parametric analysis option to run simulations for several different values of the variable.

Best regards,
Paul.
