Import-Export TOU Tiered Rate Tables was created by Kevin Scoles
Hi,
I'm in the Mac 2021.12.2 version of SAM, and I'd like to be able to import and export detailed TOU tables. The Help file says I can do this using buttons near the table, but there are no buttons. Suggestions on how I can do this?
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

There are a couple of ways to export data from the Electricity Rates page. You can export all of the data to a text file using the Save rate to file button near the top of the page:

You can use the Export or Copy buttons in the energy or demand rate table to export the TOU data in the tables, but that does not export the weekday and weekend schedules that you show in your screenshot:

Best regards,
Paul.

Hi Paul, just wondering - it would be great if the "Save rate to file..." button worked and dumped all the data into some sort of structured CSV file ?  And then of course allow it to be all loaded using the "Load rate ffrom file..."
Thanks !

Hi Mike,

That's what the Save rate to file button is supposed to do. There seems to be a problem with it in SAM 2024.12.12 that we will fix: github.com/NREL/SAM/issues/2007

Best regards,
Paul.
