Using SolarAnywhere weather data files was created by Graham Morrison
Is it possible to use a CSV weather data file in TMY3 format created by the SolarAnywhere data website? The SolarAnywhere file has the TMY3 layout however the SAM TMY3 create option will not read the data.

Hello,
You can use SAM's TMY3 Creator to cut and paste data from your SolarAnywhere file into the table, and then save that data as a TMY3 file. But first, you have to open a valid TMY3 file, which can be any of the TMY3 files in the \SAM\2013.1.15\exelib\climate_files folder, for example, you could use the 723815TY.csv file for the base file.
For details, see:
Create TMY3 File
Best regards,
Paul.
