treating output variables like 'ptflux.file.array_view' was created by emiliano casati
Good morning!
while using SamUL, I'm not able to deal with some of the output variables available from the list ("browse output variables" icon), like: 'ptflux.file.array_view', 'ptflux.file.eff_array', 'ptflux.file.flux_map'.
The dot notation suggests to me that these are actually files, but trying with the SamUL built in functions for manipulating input variables or files I'm not getting anywhere!!!
do you have any suggestion? Is there any detailed user manual available for SamUL?
thanks a lot for this great support activity

Dear Emiliano,
The purpose of these variables is to store the text of the flux input files. However there is a bug in the code that prevents them from working properly. If you want to see the files, start SAM, and press Shift-F9 to open the folder that contains the files. Once you know the path to the files, you can use the SamUL file reading functions to display the data from the files.
Best regards,
Paul.
