Natural Gas Turbine modeling was created by ryaser
Dear Paul,
In my case, I want to model a conventional power plant using a gas turbine, which will feed a small city.
I had collected the yearly load profile from the distribution company, and I have the data sheet of several turbines that I can use in the technical model.
can I use the metric system to model my case?
and, I think there are no detailed technical input in SAM generic system model, like the efficiency of the turbine hourly based on the generation percentage ?
what data I need to conduct such model?
Best Regards

Hi Rami,
SAM's Generic System model is a very simple model that represents the output of the system as a constant power value over the year. The simple inputs on the Power Plant input page determine the size of the plant and its fuel consumption. See the Help topic for that page for more information about the inputs.
Best regards,
Paul.
