Hi John,

I would recommend looking through the Getting Started section of SAM's Help system to learn the steps to create a new project. You can also find recordings of webinars demonstrating different features of SAM. For example videos about the PV model are listed here: sam.nrel.gov/photovoltaic/pv-videos.html
