How to get turbine inlet condition of HTF ? was created by Fahimahmed1
While working on a project, I needed to know the turbine inlet condition of the fluid as I was hoping to use the heated HTF coming out of the Power tower to heat water and use that as feed water in a certain system. But while using SAM, I couldn't find any relevant system that could help me find the condition of the fluid coming out of the Power Tower. So is there any way that could help me retrieve that certain fluid condition at any point of the system?
TIA
TIA

Hi Fahim,
The time series variables that a start with "PC HTF" describe the HTF properties at the the power cycle. For example, "PC HTF inlet temperature" is the temperature of the HTF at the power cycle inlet. There are also variables for the mass flow rate.
You can filter the variable list for "HTF" to see a list of all variables for HTF properties throughout the system.
Best regards,
Paul.
