Battery replacement simulation was created by gabrielkonzen
Hello. I'm having an issue running a "Generic-Battery, Residential" simulation. I selected "replacement at specified schedule", then edited the schedule with "1" in the 11th year and edited the replacement percent with "100" in the 11th year.
When I run the simulation it seems ok given that in the cash flow it is possible to see the battery replacement cost in the 11th year.
However, I changed the replacement percent to "20" and the battery replacement cost in the cash flow was the same. I was expecting 20% of the previous cost.
Do you know what I might be doing wrong?
Thank you.

Hi Gabriel,
In the current version of SAM (SAM 2020.11.29 r2), there is a single input to specify the replacement percentage by year. The replacement schedule and cost are working properly in that version.
Older versions of SAM used to separate inputs to specify the year and percentage for replacements. I confirmed that the replacement cost calculation is not correct for those versions.
Please download the latest version of SAM from the SAM download page: sam.nrel.gov/download.html
Best regards,
Paul.
