A cow manure fueled power plant was created by ABDULRAHMAN MOHAMMED BABORAIK

Dear all,

Could anyone tell how to simulate cow manure fueled power plants in SAM that generates electricity?
Does anyone have a similar experience?

Hi Abdulrahman,

SAM does not have a model for a biogas digester. If you can create an hourly electricity generation profile for the digester outside of SAM, you could use that as input to the Generic System model and combine it with a financial model to calculate economic metrics.
