Bug: Inserting Electric Load Data via Paste Function using MacOS was created by patrickbk
Dear SAM team
using the model:
Photovoltaic -> Detailed PV Model -> Distributed -> Commercial Owner
and navigating to:
Electric Load -> Edit array...
Here, I try to insert my electric load data from an Excel file using the paste function on my MacBook. As you see in the image below, SAM inserts the value zero in every second cell. This does not happen with Windows. It would be great, if you can fix this bug.
My SAM version:
Version 2020.11.29, 64 bit, updated to revision 2
SSC Version 256: OS X 64 bit GNU/C++ May 12 2021 02:59:59
wxWidgets 3.1.1 on macOS Version 11.4 (Build 20F71)
Thanks a lot for your great work!
Best,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,
I think this has to do with line endings in the file. You might try copying and pasting the data from a text editor instead of Excel.
Please see this post for a discussion of the issue:

Best regards,
Paul.
