Parabolic Trough Physical Model - Sizing geometry error was created by Mominah Ahmad
Hi, I am trying to simulate PTC-physical model with Solar Multiple of '3' and TES of 8 hours, the design point DNI is 708 W/m2, with rest of the parameters set as default. I am getting the following error:
Can you please explain why is it giving this error?

This message is from the piping model, which is described in Section 2.5 of Wagner (2011) "Technical Manual for the SAM Physical Trough Model," available here: sam.nrel.gov/concentrating-solar-power/csp-publications.html .
This error indicates that given the design solar field mass flow rates and other input parameters, the piping model was unable to determine a selection of piping diameters (See Section 2.5.1 in the manual).
