        Hi!
SAM provide me with 30 minutes data for the solar radiation components, ambient temperature, etc.
Can I use SAM to get the data with 15 Minute?
Best,
Hussein

        Hi Hussein,
SAM will run simulations with weather data time steps of up to one-minute.
The NSRDB accesses different datasets that have different time resolutions. For example, for locations in the Americas, 10-, 30-, and 60-minute data is available. For locations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, data is available in 15-, 30-, and 60-minute resolutions, and for locations in Asia, data is available in 10-, 30-, and 60-minute resolutions.
To access these datasets, check Advanced download on the Location and Resource page. You can also find information about other sources of data on the SAM website at sam.nrel.gov/weather .
Best regards,
Paul.

        Hi Hector,
To see time series output data in 15- or 30-minute time steps, you must use a weather file with 15-minute or 30-minute time steps as I describe above.
Best regards,
Paul.
