csp hybrid with biomass was created by denise.matos51
Good afternoon,
I would like to simulate a csp parabolic trough hybrid with biomass, but dont know where to insert the biomass part, not even as backup fuel.
I saw a topic that shows how to hybridize csp with photovoltaic, using the combined systems macro, but the explanation focus on the financial parameter, ainda i am also interested in the generation per hour along the year, the file that gives generation per hour in kw. Can we get this result using the combined systems macro?
Thanks a lot,
Denise Matos.

Hi Denise,
The Combine Systems macro creates a new hourly generation profile for the "combined system" by adding the hourly data for the systems that you combine. If you combine a parabolic trough system with a biopower system, the macro creates a generation profile by adding the output of the trough and biopower plant, and then uses that generation profile as input for the financial model for the combined system.

Best regards,
Paul.
