LK and SAM automation was created by Mohammed Alfailakawi
Hello
I have a problem when using the LK for SAM automation of a Solar power tower model (version 2020.11.29).

I wrote the attached script and it works fine, but only the annual energy generation does not at all (it always gives ''null'').

I am wondering why is this occurring and I really appreciate your efforts and time.

 Note:
- I also attached the SAM file of the SPT model + two CSV files for the automation.

Hi Mohammed,

Here are two things to check:

Make sure that file names in the two csvread() functions are correct.

Try running a simulation in SAM (not LK) with your weather file to make sure it is correctly formatted.

Also, when you use the simulate() function, you might try this approach to help you see when there is a problem with the simulation:

Best regards,
Paul.

Dear Mr. Gilman,
Thanks a lot for your reply, I really appreciate your endless help and support.

I followed all the points you raised, however the problem still occurs.

I get all other 4 outputs except the (annual_energy_pre_interconnect_ac) which still gives <null> for each loop ..

Actually it worked once with the same code, but only once..

Thanks in advance and apologies for the inconvenience

Hi Mohammed,

I would recommend modifying the input CSV files to contain one row of data so you can troubleshoot your script for a single simulation. Once you have it working for one simulation, then run it using multiple rows of input data.

Best regards,
Paul.
